Alison H. Mayas

Alison H. Mayas is Executive Vice President of The MayaTech Corporation, a leading research and consulting company headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland.  She is a senior management specialist with hands-on and supervisory experience in the design, management, and maintenance of administrative, logistical, and communications support operations.

Ms. Mayas earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Hofstra University; served in leadership positions in educational development programs at Hofstra University and Wagner College; managed accredited educational programs at the Washington School for Secretaries; and supported the creation and 36-year operation of The MayaTech Corporation.

Since 1987, Ms. Mayas has occupied progressively responsible positions as technical advisor, director, and corporate monitor to over $30 million of federal contracts for grantee peer review assessment, national conferences, and international training workshops focused on health and education topics.  Notable clients included the National Science Foundation; US Agency for International Development; US Department of Education; and numerous components of the US Department of Health and Human Services, including, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services, Administration on Children and Families, Administration on Developmental Disabilities, and Health Resources and Services Administration.

Ms. Mayas is married, has twin women PhD scientists, and resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
